Serbian soprano Radoslava Vorgić, praised by Solothurn Zeitung for her “warm and radiant voice, skillful phrasing” and by Wiesbadener Kurier for her “remarkable coloraturas flash,” is enjoying a diverse and dynamic career.

 

Looking ahead, Radoslava´s upcoming season is marked by ambitious and wide-ranging projects that bridge performance, education and artistic creation. Highlights include the concert performance of Ensecu´s monumental opera Œdipe, conducted by acclaimed maestro Gabriel Bebeșelea in Timișoara and Novi Sad, half-scenic performance of Handel´s Alcina, where she will sing Morgana, a new recital program Fairytale in Art Song with Duo Vorgić-Sovtić, and the medieval music project Lux Aeterna with her ensemble Musica Antiqua Neoplantensis at Baroque festivals in Novi Sad and Belgrade. She will lead a masterclass on Baroque vocal rhetoric in Belgrade, serve as a mentor at the Belgrade Baroque Academy for Handel´s Alcina, and appear in a special concert Russian Soul alongside with soprano Sonja Šarić and pianist Rita Kinka. Towards the end of the year, she will record the new CD Untranslatable Songs, a collaboration that celebrates contemporary Serbian art song and poetic resonance.

In the upcoming season, Radoslava Vorgić  made her debut as Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare in Egitto by George Frideric Handel, in a new production by New Belgrade Opera, presented at Opera and Theatre Madlenianum in Belgrade. This role marks a significant milestone in her Handel repertoire, bringing together virtuosic brilliance, rhetorical depth, and dramatic intelligence in one of the composer’s most iconic soprano roles.

In 2026, she was selected for REMA’s REMArkable Programme, a prestigious European initiative of the Réseau Européen de Musique Ancienne (REMA) supporting emerging leaders in the early music field. As a REMArkable artist, she is part of an international cohort recognized not only for artistic excellence, but also for visionary engagement in performance, education, and the sustainable development of the early music ecosystem.

Past season

In the 2024/2025 season, Ms. Vorgić begun with a chamber concert and recording of works by Rudolf Bruci. She also served as a vocal coach at the XXIII Belgrade Baroque Academy and perform several concerts with the Duo Vorgić/Sovtić at Kolarac Hall in Belgrade and at the “Miloš Crnjanski” Cultural Center in Vojvodina. 

In Spring 2025, Ms. Vorgić was an artist-in-residence for the Rediscovering Hammerschmidt project in Germany, supported by Creative Culture and the Goethe Institute. In Summer 2025, she will collaborate for the first time with the Minstrel Ensemble and Spanish director Josep Cabre. Additionally, she has debuted with Musica Antiqua Neoplantensis at the Medieval Medimus Festival in Prizren, Kosovo. 

In the 2023/2024 season, Ms. Vorgić performed extensively in Serbia and Germany, beginning with a solo recital at the Concert Hall in Novi Sad. She sang in Pimpinone (Pergolesi), conducted by Predrag Gosta, performed Mocking Bird with Mainzer Duo, and made her debut as Rosina at the Gut Immling Festival.

 

Baroque Music

Ms. Vorgić specializes in Baroque music and has performed key roles in rediscovered Baroque operas, including Il primo omicidio overo Caino (A. Scarlatti), La Giuditta (A. Scarlatti), and La Gerusalemme liberata (C. Pallavicino).

Ms. Vorgić toured with the Beyond Borders band and the Ariabica program, which combines Baroque music with jazz and Arabic music, performing throughout Germany and Serbia. She was also a member of the women’s ensemble Kaliomene, with whom she participated in a Rhineland-Palatinate tour, performing several concerts in cities across Germany featuring Gregorian chant. 

Her repertoire also includes Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and Flaminia in Haydn’s Il mondo della luna. Known for her stage presence, she excels in comedic roles such as Coscoletto (J. Offenbach). 

Scholarships and Prizes

Ms. Vorgić has garnered numerous accolades throughout her career. She was the first woman to be honored as a Knight of the Laza Kostić Foundation and won First Prize and the Audience Prize at the International Meistersinger Competition in Neustadt a.d. Weinstrasse (Germany). She also received awards from Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg (Germany), the Handel Prize at the IBLA competition (Italy), and a full scholarship for a Masterclass with Dame Emma Kirkby at the Dartington International Summer School (England). 

Education

Serbian-born soprano Radoslava Vorgić holds a degree in music pedagogy and vocal performance from the Music Academy of Novi Sad. Additionally, she earned a PhD under the guidance of Professor Milica Stojadinović in Serbia. Her academic journey continued with a Master’s degree in concert and operatic singing, as well as postgraduate studies, under Professor Claudia Eder at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. She is currently working with Eva Batori.
