Founded in 2019, the ensemble unites a diverse group of accomplished musicians, all specialists in period instruments, dedicated to recreating the sounds and spirit of Early Music with both precision and passion.
The ensemble’s repertoire spans a wide array of works by composers such as Boismortier, Scarlatti, Monteclair, J.S. Bach, Handel, Telemann, Monteverdi, and Dowland, among others. Musica Antiqua Neoplantensis delights audiences with both beloved masterpieces and lesser-known treasures, showcasing depth and variety. Their performances are renowned for dynamic energy, meticulous attention to detail, and a compelling approach that engages audiences through storytelling and expressive interpretation.
Musica Antiqua Neoplantensis frequently collaborates with guest to craft immersive concert experiences. The ensemble has performed at prestigious venues and festivals across Serbia, including the most prominent early music festivals in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
